Krishna has been with Myers, Fletcher & Gordon since October of 2010 and his areas of practice include Litigation, Planning and Environmental Law, Energy, Shipping and Maritime Law.
Prior to practicing as an attorney-at-law Krishna worked in the public, private, and third sectors in Jamaica, the Eastern Caribbean, and the United Kingdom where he provided regulatory advice in relation to large housing, resort, port, and highway developments; coastal zone and natural resource management, and energy and related carbon management issues.
In addition to his legal qualifications, Krishna holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Botany (UWI), and a Master of Marine Management (Dalhousie University).
He serves as a Director for the Caribbean Coastal Area Management Foundation and is the immediate past President of the Jamaica Institute of Environmental Professionals (JIEP) having served as President between 2012 and 2016. Along with maintaining his membership with the JIEP, he is also recognized as having Practitioner grade qualifications by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (United Kingdom). In August 2016 the Government appointed Krishna to the Advisory Board of the Forestry Agency.
