MF&G - Don't Blush Baby Sexual Harassment Seminar

Myers, Fletcher & Gordon (“MF&G”) has embarked on a public sensitization campaign in light of the pending Sexual Harassment Bill which has been the subject of nation-wide debate as it is making its way to being passed into law by the Government of Jamaica. Partner, Gavin Goffe and Associate, Adrian Cotterell of the firm’s Labour Practice Group have been leading the charge by educating employers, employees and many other stakeholders of the various implications of the Bill through the “Don’t Blush Baby” seminar series which has been hosted by MF&G across the island.

The hotness of this topic is such that the most recent seminar held in Kingston on March 16, 2018 at the Knutsford Court Hotel was sold out well in advance of its staging. Many stakeholders gathered early in the morning to commune together over breakfast as they benefited from a thorough overview of the proposed Bill and its implications. The participants also benefited from a very engaging panel discussion lead by the presenters and Imani Duncan-Price, Chief of Staff in the Office of the Leader of the Opposition, Adley Duncan, Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions and David Wan, President of the Jamaica Employers’ Federation (JEF).
