Beyond even her value as a truly gifted and accomplished attorney, Barbara Ann Alexander has provided her skills to MFG for many years, in different capacities. She currently serves as a Consultant and formerly served as the Head of both the Commercial and the Property and Estates Departments and as the Firm’s Managing Partner. Her determination, vision and lead-by-example attitude are only matched by her expertise in Banking, Project Finance and Real Estate Law. 


Advising Tavistock, one of 2 joint venture partners in large hotel and casino development on Jamaica’s North Coast in relation to real estate development.

Participated in the sale by Hinduja Global Solution of its worldwide health care business process outsourcing (BPO) services, including inter alia certain assets, contracts and employees by Betaine B.V.

Acted for the concessionaire in the privatization of the Sangster International Airport.

Acted for the purchaser in the acquisition of shares of Hardware & Lumber Limited, a publicly listed company from its controlling shareholder.

Acted for the Financial Sector Adjustment Company (Finsac) in the acquisition of Union Bank.

Acted in the acquisition of Boscobel Beach Hotel.

Acted in the divestment of Braco Resorts as a hotel enterprise and tourist resort.

Advised large players in both the financial services industry in relation to commercial and residential developments. 

Advising several local and foreign investors in relation to tourism and resort development.

Acting in the acquisition and development of significant tourism developments on the North Coast.
