Stephanie joined MF&G in 2015 and is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on complex commercial and civil litigation, including shareholder oppression, contractual disputes, defamation, construction, negligence, judicial review, mining, enforcement of foreign judgments and environmental law. Stephanie has successfully represented clients in a diverse range of matters at multiple levels of the court system, in addition to arbitration and mediation.
Stephanie has also accumulated significant experience in the Firm’s Commercial Department where she was involved in large commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and energy. She advises major clients in the medical cannabis industry.
Stephanie graduated as the Valedictorian with First Class Honours in her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the West Indies in Cave Hill, Barbados. Subsequently, at the Norman Manley Law School, she attained multiple accolades for outstanding academic and extra-curricular achievement, including the Principal’s Honour Roll and excellence in international mooting competitions. Prior to law, Stephanie pursued studies in Economics and Political Science at Macalester College in the United States, as a Kofi Annan scholarship recipient.
Stephanie has a passion for charitable projects, music, teaching, cuisine, and travelling.
